The Empire Theatres Foundation seeks to promote the performing arts for the benefit of the local community. Launched by its patron, Geoffrey Rush in 2003, it aims to provide performing arts opportunities to further the cultural experiences and professional development of young people in Toowoomba and surrounding districts. The Empire Theatres Foundation also seeks to preserve and promote the history of the heritage listed art-deco venue. To these ends, the Foundation has undertaken two long–term programs. The History Program, which seeks to preserve the movable cultural heritage associated with the Empire Theatre and the Youth Program which supports a range of performing arts development projects for young people. The Empire Theatres Foundation Youth Program has quickly established a credible reputation as a leading philanthropic entity supporting young performing artists. Since its inception, the Youth Program has assisted over 80 young performing artists towards achieving their goals by providing placements with leading educational institutions.

Health Service District into the Toowoomba city community, support the pursuit of excellence in service and people’s health outcomes by the Toowoomba Hospital & Toowoomba Health Service District by improving facilities, equipment, research and development, and education and training and support the pursuit of excellence in service and health outcomes in rural health services in Queensland and Australia.
