What were your previous occupations? 

What are your qualifications? Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) – RG 146 Compliant – through USQ. 

Why did you join your industry? I had owned shares in the past and enjoy the constantly changing environment of finance. 

How did you get started in your industry? I started doing work experience with Nevitts Toowoomba in March 1997 before being offered a full time position later that year. 

What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry? Be comfortable with change. Understand that there is 'nothing more emotional than money', and that you will develop and nurture lifelong relationships with your clients. 

What do you enjoy most about where you work? Seeing clients achieve their goals by following our advice and working with a great team of fellow minded professionals. 

What one sentence would you like people to use in describing the way you do business? Andrew and the team at Dornbusch Partners aren't just selling product, they take the time to understand my needs and make recommendations that suit me, not their pocket. 

What areas do you service? Direct Equities 

What is your point of difference? Dornbusch Partners is not owned by a large bank or insurance company. We have over 90 years collective experience in wealth management.

Who is your ideal client type? Time poor individuals, often professional people or business owners. 

What significant changes have taken place in your profession over the years? I would say the industry has changed at least 3 times completely since I started be it compliance wise, technology wise or general client knowledge wise.
