I’m interested in investing in shares. What do I need to know?
When you buy a share, you become a part owner of a business. Some of the biggest businesses in Australia are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) including Commonwealth Bank, BHP and Telstra.
To buy a share, you’ll need to open a share trading account and then use a broker to buy your company of choice. Similarly, to sell a share, again you would use a broker and instruct them to execute your instruction.
