Community. More than a footnote.
We’ve long supported our community – serving on boards, mentoring, sponsoring events, and volunteering after hours. Giving back is simply part of who we are.

Protea Place.
Homelessness is often unseen, yet on any given night women in Toowoomba may be sleeping in cars, spare rooms, or unsafe share houses. Protea Place offers a safe, daytime refuge with warm showers, fresh clothes, nutritious meals, connection, and more.
Our contribution is to amplify their impact - fundraising, matching public donations, and sharing networks that open doors for the service. In 2024 Director Andrew Wielandt raised $17,965 by sleeping rough for their 4 Pink Wheels event shining a spotlight the issue.
Learn more about this charityToowoomba Basketball Association.
Basketball in Toowoomba runs deep. The Toowoomba Basketball Association (TBA) governs the sport across the region, providing pathways for players of all ages.
Each pathway starts with access. From Mini Neers on the court for the first time to rep players chasing state honours, TBA provides the structure that makes participation possible across the Darling Downs. This is a cause close to home for our former adviser John Gouldson. As a sponsor of TBA, we help keep those pathways open for the next generation of Toowoomba athletes.

The Queensland Country Women's Association.
The Queensland Country Women's Association (QCWA) has been a cornerstone of regional and rural life for over a century, connecting women, strengthening communities, and championing the issues that matter most outside the city.
We're proud to sponsor the QCWA Southern Region Conference as their organisation’s values of community, connection, and resilience mirror our own.

Beyond these flagship partnerships, DP Wealth Advisory maintains active links with business, education, and sporting groups. Andrew Wielandt is a past President of the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Empire Theatres Foundation, and Jye Berghofer is the current President of the Toowoomba Referral Group. Such relationships keep us tuned to the rhythms of regional life and ready to help when opportunities, or challenges, arise.
Community purpose.
Whether it is a hot lunch, a life-saving machine, or a young performer’s first ticket to the national stage, these initiatives strengthen Toowoomba’s social fabric. We are privileged to stand beside the staff and volunteers who make that progress possible.
