8 ETFs advisers approve for FY26
Andrew Wielandt and Adam Dawes share their top ETF picks for FY26, covering income, growth, global, and thematic opportunities to help investors diversify with confidence.
Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have become a core investment option for many Australians. Originally designed as low-cost vehicles to track market indices, the ETF market has expanded significantly. Today, investors can access products across a wide range of strategies, including income generation, thematic exposures, and alternative assets.
There are now more than 420 ETFs listed on the ASX, giving investors extensive choice. However, the size of the market can also create complexity, with uncertainty around which funds are most appropriate in different market conditions.
In a recent panel discussion, our very own Andrew Wielandt joined Adam Dawes of Shaw & Partners to examine the differences between active and passive investing. The session also covered how they are structuring client portfolios and highlighted preferred ETF opportunities across multiple asset classes.
